The House of J.C. Le Roux, South Africa’s oldest cellar dedicated entirely to the craft of making sparkling wine, is acclaimed for its passion, craftsmanship and expertise to make the finest vintage Méthode Cap Classiques in the time-honoured French style, and fun loving bubblies to suit every palate.
This dedicated cellar is the first producer to win the prestigious Wine Magazine Amorim Cap Classique Challenge with a rosé – J.C. le Roux Pinot Noir Rosé 2006. It was also the first cellar to produce a Pinot Noir and an off-dry Cap Classique, La Vallée.
Nestled in the heart of the picturesque Devon Valley near Stellenbosch, The House of J.C. le Roux has been transformed after a stylish make-over. It boasts a chic new oyster bar, the elegant Scintilla lounge for private tastings, a funky wine shop and an uplifting tasting area, a colourful contemporary fresh space in which to experience the full range of J.C. Le Roux bubblies. The Scintilla lounge was inspired by the dazzling signature Méthode Cap Classique - J.C. Le Roux Scintilla.
